Harman said all the dead were Californians. He identified them as pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills; co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad; Chris Baker, 29, of Studio City; and Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles.....
...Beth Frits, spokeswoman at the Joseph Still Burn Center, in Augusta, Georgia, said Barker and Goldstein arrived at the hospital early Saturday. She said both men had "extensive burns."

Hope they recover soon...damn

Boo! "Extensive burns" suck.
Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2008 2:21 PM
Shit. Even though this is primarily an indie site, I bet half of you fuckers grew up on Blink. Get better travis!
Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2008 2:24 PM
I grew up hating Blink 182. Guess Barker won't be acting like a rich arrogant prick for a while.
Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2008 2:26 PM
Anon 2:26 wins the award for most miserable bastard who hasn't had sex in a very long time....

Just because someone is hurt, doesn't mean that they are a decent human being. Travis Barker is a stereotypical douchebag. Too bad the crew of the plane didn't survive instead of him... there is no doubt that they were much more worthy than some talentless, psuedo-celebrity hack.
Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2008 2:35 PM
fourth-degree burns are so indie.
Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2008 2:36 PM
Ah, yes, wishing people who just survived a plane crash had dies. Gotta love the assholes who post on blogs.

Now you see what happens when you wear your hat sideways!!!

Blink 182 was a shitty band but fuck this is a horrible thing to happen to anyone. I cant believe some many twats on here are too fucking cool to remember that.
Posted by alofromdablock | September 20, 2008 3:07 PM
Whoever said Blink 182 is a shitty band may be right, but fuck me if they weren't a goddamn important band in the adolescent lives of all the kids my age and the creators of a whole bunch of incredibly fun and timeless songs. Get well soon, that crash looked like bad news.
Posted by Blake | September 20, 2008 3:18 PM
when AM and travis Barker play together it is fun to watch.
Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2008 3:29 PM
"Whoever said Blink 182 is a shitty band may be right, but fuck me if they weren't a goddamn important band in the adolescent lives of all the kids my age"
ahhhh... so that's why the kids these days are such clueless douche bags. Makes sense...
Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2008 3:35 PM
i'm not such a big fan of this, i was around for the original east village post-crash burn scene and all you kids don't understand it.
Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2008 3:38 PM
assholes who wish people had died should die. Travis is a fellow musician - this is horrible. Get well soon, bro
Posted by matt | September 20, 2008 3:39 PM
Those that think it's ok for an 'asshole' to get third degree burns in a horrible crash are twats with no compassion for human life. I highly suggest running for office with the rest of the self-serving idiots: then you can get your third degree burns in hell.

What I love about this, is that Blink 182 would never get written up on this blog. They have to almost burn to death in an accident to get on it. haha
Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2008 5:09 PM
Douchebag as he is, this is a horrible thing to happen to anyone and it sounds really bad.
Not to be morbid, but they may die. "Extensive burns" + "Critical condition" + the fact that all the other passengers died= possible FUBAR, at the very least months of grafts and painful physical therapy. Plus, complications with all those tattoos, an inability to ever drum again, etc.
Best wishes to the guy, insufferable douche as he is.
Posted by Dislike Travis but I'm an empathy-ridden dude with 3rd degree burns | September 20, 2008 5:21 PM
why is barker a douchebag? i mean he looks the part but i'm interested to know details.
Posted by beast | September 20, 2008 5:45 PM
watch an episode of his reality show.
Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2008 5:46 PM
I almost feel guilty... I WISHED this would happen to him while watching an episode of his MTV show.
Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2008 5:47 PM
man, my best to both of them, way to bum me out bv.
my condolences to all the families. total suckage.
Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2008 6:38 PM
#1 -they Will Not have a speedy recovery at all & they are Not OK-
With 3rd degree burns they are highly susceptible to contracting many infections & developing other problems while in the hospital.
and they will never look the same.
This is a terrible thing to happen to anyone.
I hope they will recover as much as possible from this incident.
Posted by LuvBunny | September 20, 2008 8:16 PM
This is terrible news, and fuck all the assholes on this blog for poking fun at two burn victims who just lost their good friend who was on his way home to see his wife give birth.
It is however funny to see all the hipster douches on this site confessing to watching Barker's reality show, and branding HIM the asshole because of it.
You're all morons.
Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2008 8:26 PM
Assholes like Travis Barker need to stop reproducing.
Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2008 8:49 PM
please everyone just shut up.

I wish a speedy recovery to Travis and DJ AM and I offer condolences to the families and friends of those who died.
That said,
"Travis is a fellow musician"
So? So is Miley Cyrus.

shaiiiiaaaaaaaatttttttttt.
Posted by Anonymous | September 21, 2008 11:08 PM
There have fully recovered already, doctor.
Posted by Anonymous | September 22, 2008 8:03 AM
At least it wasn't a DJ/musician with actual TALENT, like Andy C or Craze, it happened to.
Posted by Anonymous | September 22, 2008 8:30 AM
how are they doing?
Posted by Anonymous | September 22, 2008 1:44 PM
DJ AM has been released from Doctors Hospital in Georgia, a week after surviving a plane crash in South Carolina. His rep said that he's currently on his way back to Los Angeles. The rep also said: "While he is deeply saddened by the events he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends world wide. We ask that you continue respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends."
Travis Barker is still in the hospital in Georgia where he's being treated for burns to his torso and lower body. Jermaine Dupri recently visited Travis and told People: "He's supposed to send a message out to everybody in a couple of days to let everybody know that he's feeling better. He's definitely feeling the love from everyone." Jermaine said Travis should be out of the hospital in about two weeks.

not a value statement:
surviving a plane crash is the punkest thing this dude's ever done.
a value statement:
famous stars and straps makes me want to kill people because it is the most hideous and terribly executed "brand" ever conceived.
also:
get well human man.
