Some thoughts on the Cake Shop here:

Short version: started off shaky, got quite good, and a song from Guthrie's "Now, More Than Ever" was included in the set, which warmed my heart.

it was a good gig, i really just came to hear moody motorcycle live and it didnt disappoint. i was able to sit and watch the show which was a nice change of pace. when this show ended is when summer ended as well.

it was interesting to learn that these canadians had written a song about how polluted williamsburg/greenpoint is and how we're all gonna get cancer and die from it. i liked the song better before i knew.

any more pictures from the show?

it was fine. nothing to write home about really. just pleasant, like the record. though, most of the songs were a bit lounder than on the record. thats about it.

williamsburg/greenpoint is polluted by losers who live off mommy's purse. the cancer is in the air and effects the mind. your already dead.
