There should be a term for this practice. Like: "Man, the Union Hall guys totally pulled a Bowery Presents on that Low show." Except, of course, Bowery doesn't do this as much anymore and The Bell House is probably an even better venue for this gig.

or when someone makes a pointless comment... we can say "man, you totally pulled a Greg on that comment."

Well, we all got a little entertainment from everyone's sad attempts at humor, didn't we? It's so nice that someone comments about this blog on a lovely Saturday afternoon; that way I don't have to face the sunlight. Thanks, Greg. Thanks, anonymous. Thanks, me.

not happy,
the entire reason i got tickets for this show was because it WAS at union hall.
i wanted it to be tight and intimate like seeing them at brownies eons ago.
so yeah.
thanks guys.
really.

when you say intimate, you mean less than 25 feet from the stage anywhere you are in the room? that's both union hall and the bell house.

As a Gregory i would also object to the term
"pulled a greg."
union hall is really well run i think, a little too loud maybe.
so i imagine bell house is gonna be great

Fantastic show! Low provided their own mini wall of noise this evening, and the Bell get two thumbs up.
