free shows with open bars never fail, the whole thing was amazing.

Stay classy, you anonymous bv commentators.
More importantly, how was the sound in the venue last night. It sucked so bad for Deerhunter that I'm thinking of skipping this joint altogether.

unlike a lot of bands, matt & kim seem to have a lot of fun when they play. i would have loved them when i was 14.

The Show was amazing. The sound was great.
Open bar is always a big plus.....
but maybe everything was amazing and sounded so good because of the open bar?
Matt & Kim are toooo adorable

I don't know how anyone could possibly complain...it was a free show and an open bar! I saw Matt and Kim for the first time Saturday at their show upstate with Justice and fell in love. They are good old fashioned fun. They are living their dream and it shows...how could you hate on that?

the sound was extremely bass heavy and at times painfully loud. and it was also extremely hot in there except for one spot in the middle of the floor that was beneath the AC vent.

craptastic photos. why bother to post them?
why is there always some jackass commenting on how all these shows have "homogeneous" crowds? were you raised so sheltered that you think that when world has to look like a politically-correct cell phone ad all the time?
