Trying WAY too hard on their Mats look. Mats had regular guy thing down flat. Why..? Cause they were. These dudes are trying way too hard. Right on comment above..get rid of creepy kiddie-fiddler mustache dude, then smack dork with glasses and goofy hat.

i rather enjoy these gentlemen's music.

For heaven's sake - which one of them is trying to which like which one of the Replacements? Hate the band if you like, but saying they're trying for a "Mats look (and "WAY too hard" at that)" is just inaccurate.

I got picked. I was a bit surprised to see that there's a $20 suggested donation.

The keyboard player was such a cheesy ham at the show. He sort of ruined it.

apparently there is no crowd surfing at government buildings...

there was some corporate d-bag who was shoving everybody around and i figured 'during massive nights i'll jump off his back'

which i did
and again during hoodrat (even though he had actually complimented me)

i think the set was almost over, anyway

"Slapped Actress" was a real highlight, in fact all the songs on the new record get infinitely better live. excellent show.

yeah, security was hilarious. Armed guards going into a mosh pit to throw people out? I know it's a bank and all, but wading through a mosh pit with a gun--at an open bar event! well that's just funny.

peaks: "Sequestered," "The Swish," "Hoodrat," ended with "Resurrection." Awesome.
