But it just doesn't get any better than when he sings When a Man Loves a Woman.

what the fuck is this?

What does Mark Knight's Tropic Zone have to do with TPC or RaRaRiot? Is there some implication that these bands are clandestinely playing the Merc on Sunday? Is it as simple as he's a DJ who spins these bands? Can somebody explain?

Mark Knight is Tokyo Police Club's sound guy. He used to work at Mercury Lounge for a long time doing house sound

Why are people struggling with this? TPC is playing Mercury Lounge Sunday night.

Yeah this is truly amazing. The mass of complete idiots reading this blog. BV has fucking spelled it out for you in 3 posts already

Yes that is right. The band that sells out every show they play in nyc at bigger venues is playing this tiny place for 10 bucks. They are playing under an assumed name. This is not a guess or a maybe. It is an 100% confirmation.

Now for those of you who like this band and do not get tickets and then complain on Monday that you did not know or whatever should shove a hot poker right up your ass.

I cannot believe this isn't sold out. There are going to be loads of sour-pussed TPC fans out there who, due to a gross excess of stupidity and skepticism, completely missed the boat

The Static Jacks, who played with TPC at Bowery back in April, are playing Saturday at UCMusicFest. They are also playing for free at Rehab (lower east side) Monday night 9.8.08 at 8pm.

Being a dj isn't easy and I think its just the fact that remixing andelectronic music is abig deal and tpc incorprates a bit of an electronic sound....I love it<3

The show was great last night. Mark Knight's Tropic Zone totally killed it. I heard that Weezer is actually opening for them later in the tour. I love the ZONE!
