Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2008 5:57 PM
when will they go away back to the library they came from
Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2008 6:07 PM
WW!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2008 6:08 PM
I'm sure their moment will ebb once they release their sophomore record where they get too ambitious and try to get "arty"
Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2008 6:09 PM
silly 5:57, you don't have to be a "hipster" to hate terminal 5
Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2008 6:10 PM
thy fifteen minutes are drawing nigh.

I've enjoyed watching them on late night tv, mostly because I like cataloging how their clothing choices get visibly more expensive as their fortunes rise

i enjoy terminal 5. but i will probably enjoy the wellmont better, seeing as i live in montclair. VW should play there so i dont have to leave my town.

Who is bigger?
a) Feist
b) M.I.A.
c) MGMT
D) Vampire Weekend
Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2008 6:44 PM
of that list, feist...the power of television.
Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2008 6:51 PM
"woooooowoooo im a douche!!!! weeeeeee!"
Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2008 7:00 PM
I would vote for M.I.A on that list as evidenced by the size of her coachella/mccarren crowd in comparison to MGMT and Vampire Weekend's granted MGMT packed mccaren in but the show was free where as M.I.A's was for cash...but on a side note WOW TUCSON GETS HOT CHIP WITH VAMPIRE how can they be so lucky

Feist.
Music is a billion times better than this band

I wanna see Vampire Weekend take a stroll through nearby South Tucson. Cholos aren't too keen on the ivy league set. Those cable knit sweaters should soak up a lot of blood –

ugliest crowd '08 in that picture
Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2008 8:57 PM
they're not ugly, there just going through the uglies because they're still tweens and their still growing into their bodies. this is vampire weekend's core audience. wee lil kiddies.

Not a fan of the band myself, but wtf is with all the douchebags on here ripping acts they don't like. There's plenty of artists that appeal to any kinds of taste. My suspicion is there's a ton of resentment coming from assholes who resent their 9 to 5 workaday lives whenever they see any artists start to taste some (usually hard-earned) success.

Their music sound like a boating trip with your gay dad.
Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2008 10:22 PM
^my mom does your gay dad with a strap on and you watch.

Who cares that? I just want to know who is the lady named juice , Michael Jordan was associating with her today on a 40+ social site [ _____Seeking 40plus COM_____ ]. Are they dating now? Some wealthy 40+ members on that site said they would marry next month? Is that ture? Nobody knows.!!!!!!!!!

Vampire Weekend is awesome. The only better show i saw this summer was The Hold Steady. Just constant negativity on this board.
You all really really suck and I hope i never meet you.
Posted by Anonymous | September 10, 2008 12:11 PM
You already have met me. Think "herpes".

Tickets were sold out in Europe long ago before the start of the concert. This proves that Vampire Weekend is a great band.
