That's a good question. The EVR website still says he is playing, but he's not in the set times. Maybe they are trying to make it a semi-secret appearance. I don't know, but I doubt Flying Lotus is playing as long as they are alloted in that new schedule.

it looks like they took out both dr. lonnie smith and ronson and didn't adjust the set times at all, but rather just left gaps.

holy crap TPC was so goddamn good last night. they played pretty much everything off the first EP and LP and even some off the smith EP.

TPC/Tropic Zone was great. I was surprised it didn't even sell out. I saw folks buying tickets even at 11PM.

I was surprised too. There weren't many people there.

I'm not surprised. I mean a lot of the people in the target audience of TPC already spent at least a chunk of the day down at EVR music fest, I mean how many shows can you possibly go to?

btw- Boris was pretty bad wasnt it? with the over the top light show? Best shows were at the second stage. Crystal Stilts were much better this time than at the South Street Seaport last month. The singer did a much better job. Also did you guys notice Vivian Girls were outside, while Frankie was drumming with CS. Who do you think will be bigger success, CS or VG? making of two pretty damn good retro bands

Just for the record, I saw one of the Vivian Girls watching Crystal Stilts.

the blond one, I dont know her name. Also after that show I dont see how anyone can make a claim like Frankie can't keep a beat, etc. she was fucking awesome, many people were complementing her after the show.

I bet a lot of people complemented Hoobastank after their shows, too.

yeah second stage was much better. CS and Woods ruled.
