Andrew Bird @ All Points West (more by Kyle Dean Reinford)
Andrew Bird @ APW

Bird's got his follow-up to last year's Armchair Apocrypha in the can.

The disc's called Noble Beast, and it's due from Fat Possum January 27. You can get your first earful of leadoff track "Oh No" over in Forkcast right now. And yes, there is lots of whistling.

Bird also has a new live album available right this instant through his webstore. It's called Live in Montreal, and it was recorded at the city's La Tulipe in September of last year with Martin Dosh and Jeremy Ylvisaker backing up Bird. [P4K]

Does anyone know what other "secret guests to be named later" are expected at the Barack Rock show tomorrow night?

I saw Sandro Perri at Le Poisson Rouge last night. I thought he was great. One-man band with a guitar, a kick drum and a moog.
