Boris @ Webster Hall (more by Jason Bergman)

As someone anonymously pointed out in the Maxwell's show post, Boris are playing Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn on 12/3, this time with Clouds and Growing. Tickets are on sale now. Tickets for their 11/9 Maxwell''s show are also still available.
The Maxwell's show is before Boris's tour with Nine Inch Nails. The Brooklyn date is one of four shows that Boris has lined up with Growing after the NIN tour. It's possible Clouds are playing those other three post-NIN shows too, but that information hasn't been released yet. Stay tuned for updates.
In typical Boris style, the band released a new probably limited live album? I think... well.. does anyone speak Japanese?
Growing dropped their latest effort All The Way in September, played ATP NY that same month, and then went on tour with Hot Chip.
Clouds also shared a NYC bill with Boris when they played Webster Hall back in July. Torche played that show too and that's who Clouds is going back out on tour with later this month. All dates for everyone below...

I guess I'm anonymous, like Larry David.

Damn, this will be the fourth time Boris has played NYC this year. Hopefully they setlist won't be as Smile-heavy this time.

Boris has jumped the shark..and who wants to buy 5 copies of the same record from 10 countries with one song different on each one with limited editions of 500 in currencies that the US$ has no buying power with?

If multiple editions of the same record is what you qualify as jumping the shark, the Boris jumped the shark many, many, many years ago.

boris was fucking great at knitting factory earlier this year

609 -- agreed. was there. Kurihara on guitar just sweetened it all. Boris is a hell of a band with a handful of solid records that consistently delivers nasty, colossal, even at-times theatrical shows. I don't get all the negativity.

Boris have been one of the best bands I've seen live but they've also lately played a lot of boring material. I wish they would play some older stuff, or at least their more shoegaze-y material.
Also hopefully the set list will be different this time; in the span of over a year they've played a pretty much identical set list.

No matter what your opinion about Boris, those kids always have great hair.
