Where are the young Bob Dylan's? Without question, not here on Earth.
And I quote:
"Michael you're the boy with all the leather hips
Stucky hair, sticky hips stubble on my sticky lips"

Good but kinda bad. Spicy but vinegary.
I like my vinegar on my crisps not in my shrimps.

"Here is my write up"
I read the first line and decided not to read anymore.
If "Take Me Out" gets anyone "into music"- I don't even know where to begin to convey my grave dismay.

Actually if music other people love bothers you so much, you should feel bad for yourself. FF is not really my thing, but from what I hear a lot of people had great fun last night. Good for them.

Who cares what people paid. The show was great! Someone wrote this band is relevant because? They are relevant because they write catchy music you can dance to.. They're set was tight and they put on a great show. That's about all the relevance I need to enjoy a band. Harmony and rhythm the key to any successful band.Franz has been around for almost 5 years now and have a very distinct style. Unlike so many of the cookie cutter crap bands you hear now.The cool thing with Franz is you know what you're going to get and thats why I'm looking forward to the new album.

to 3:20 I said that 'Take Me Out' got my attention. Even if it was that song that got me more INTERESTED into music, what is the problem with that? Sorry you feel so strongly against that.

Will, if you have even the minutest shred of dignity as a 'blogger' you won't get into a pissing contest with some douche bag, rich kid, tourist posting retarded comments.

Just because you like to destroy
All the things that bring the idiots joy
Well, what's wrong with a little destruction?
Thats great lyricism. Punchy beat. That does it for me. FTW!!!

Did the MHOW oversell this concert? I've never seen MHOW so packed even at other shows which are "sold out."

The crowd was embarrassing last night. FF knew it too with the whole is Brooklyn quiet routine. Very little dancing. Very little cheering. Very little singing along. I hit 50 shows a year and last nights crowd gets the worst of 2008 by far.
Hey FF - there were about 30 of us in the house last night that did dance and cheer our asses off. From us to you, thanks for a great show.
Posted by Anonymous | October 9, 2008 5:04 PM
Most girls by the front were nice... except that one that smelled of putrid marlboro nicotine.. damn girl, give up them cigarrettes..

well, i don't know what you do for a living but i work a 60-70 hour week, plus commuting on the subway to and from. i was exhausted.
don't judge people when you don't know their deal. i wanted to dance, but was physically drained from nights of 4 hours of sleep.
Posted by Anonymous | October 9, 2008 5:21 PM
new songs were crazy great.
Posted by Anonymous | October 9, 2008 5:21 PM
seemed like everybody was dancing and going nuts to me, though i was in the front third of the floor.

Hey Anon 5:21 - I feel for you and those long hours at work and not getting nearly enough sleep. Both things that contributed to the crowd being the worst of 08.

"Ulysses" and "Katherine Kiss Me" were toxic awesome.
I quit my job because I love Franz Ferdinand so much. It's always better on holiday! So much better on holiday! And I love the human race.
