Fucked Up & Vivian Girls @ the Rogan Store (5:30-7:30) -pics

Chris stopped by the Rogan Store before heading to Highline Ballroom to catch Jamie Lidell. Like Ryan, he saw the Vivian Girls play the store with Fucked Up (10/14). It's a lineup that repeats itself tonight at Bowery Ballroom (10/15) and again Thursday (10/16) at Market Hotel. Chris was going to stay at the Fucked Up show until 8:00, but they went on an hour break around 7:00 (a 12 hour show? false advertising!). More of Chris's pics below...

Can someone PLEASE buy the Vivian Girls REAL guitars to play? Did they find those Squires on the Street, or do they actually enjoy playing training guitars for childen?? I'm serious here people, if anyone that works for those ladies reads this, please for the love of god inform them that those guitars blow, and a real band honestly should know better.

Squires do not sound bad if you put some work in them. If you can find one with a good neck (may have terrible necks and/or frets), you can put some decent pickups into them and you will have a great guitar/bass. The electronics inside Squires are crap and need to be swapped out ASAP.
