I will be on holiday from Australia and would love to go to this, but i'm staying in New York. How difficult would it be to get back to East Village after the show? Would a taxi be out of the question on NYE? If not, approx. how much would that cost? Thanks.

taxis on new years eve notoriously extort huge amounts
of $$$$ from people
and are VERY HARD to find.
there is a new jersey transit stop several blocks away (walnut st)
but it may be better to try to arrange a ride on here with someone
from ny going to this
