Prince is playing an intimate NYC show on Friday?

Prince

Okee doke, New York fans, fams, freaks and purpleheads...it's gonna be your turn to party, sooner than you think. Get your fancy pants pressed now, folks: Prince is coming to town.

When? Friday, October 10th.
Location: Wish I could tell you, but as of yet I have no clue.

What I *can* tell you is that it will be a very small capacity show. We're talking INTIMATE. Like, 250 - 300 people intimate. Also, we have learned that Friday night's show will be a L4OA charity benefit gig for the Urban Planning cause, which is an organization Taja Seville has been involved with. This is all we know right now. When we get more info, we will share it as soon as we can

BV, take this post down before Prince sues you!!!

Posted by Anonymous | October 8, 2008 6:24 PM

Prince can't sue BV for anything related to this post you idiot.

Posted by Anonymous | October 8, 2008 6:33 PM

It was clearly a joke about Prince suing his fans/the internet, 6:33. That makes you the idiot.

Posted by Anonymous | October 8, 2008 6:34 PM

Not only that, 6:34, but in general, in the U.S., you can sue anyone for anything (whether your lawsuit gets thrown out right away is a different matter, but the defendant still has to hire a lawyer) and in Prince's case, he has sued over the use of his image, IIRC.

"prince can't sue BV for anything related to this post you idiot" hurts bad. clearly, the comedic wit and eye for irony only a laywer could have

Apparently there is a contest to win tickets to this through a couple of his fan message boards. Any chance they will sell a small release, too, or invite only? Hmmmm.
