Roisin Murphy @ Mansion (CMJ), NYC - pics & setlist
Photos by Tim Griffin

"I had a really incredible time watching Roisin Murphy make her U.S. debut in NYC [Friday] night. She played about 3/4's of Overpowered and a couple songs I wasn't familiar with (possibly from her earlier work). There were costume/coat changes after each song." [Cheztune]
"I didn't know how big Mansion was going to be (very big) and how many people were going to be crammed in there (probably 700?). You could not move it was so packed. There were people on the balconies, the stairs, most of them way more dressed up than I was. And most of them were super-fans. Who knew?" [Bill Pearis]
"Roisin Murphy went beyond people's wildest expectations for her first U.S. show and delivered a solid performance that will have people talking for a while. More importantly, with some many music execs and press people in the room, she has left a lasting impression that has opened the door for more American attention." [Arjan Writes]

dude, you need therapy, seriously. and I doubt she'd let you get near enough to even shake your hand, which is probably really gross from all that wanking off you must do. Get therapy. Stop posting.

It was okay, for a show completely overtaken by gay men.
She was kind of like a drag queen, sans-equipment.
They way oversold Crobar though. Way.
