can you tell them apart?

Just two weeks after Duffy appeared, the other "next Amy Winehouse" Adele was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live. (the real) Sarah Palin (cringe) was on last night's episode too....

I just hope that doesn't help her campaign
Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2008 2:24 AM
nah, it will just make her a slightly more interesting footnote after all its all over
Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2008 3:47 AM
It's so obvious that Tina Fey wants fucking nothing to do with Palin.
Posted by sixtypercentgrey | October 19, 2008 3:50 AM
I'm voting for the age of horus, and for a luciferian recreation on Earth. Soon the veil shall pass and our souls will shine like the burning demons we are!!!

There are all fakers.
Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2008 10:05 AM
honestly, Palin does put all waif NYC hipster, trust-fund, sarah-jessica-parker wannabe women to shame. Baldwin is right. she is a hottie!
Posted by PalinisHOT | October 19, 2008 10:45 AM
She was, unsurprisingly, extremly unappealing and struggling not to flub her lines. I cannot wait for her to go away.
Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2008 10:54 AM
Palin was great on SNL.
Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2008 11:24 AM
Actually, the bit in the beginning was a total mockery of Palin (who has NOT held a press conference), so to have the fake Palin (Fey) holding a press conference right in front of the real Palin, while Baldwin dismisses her as a hottie (her only benefit to McCain's campaign) was subversively funny.
While it isn't a stretch that the joke went WAY over her head, it's kind of laughable that her handlers are also too dense to get it.
Posted by sea hag | October 19, 2008 11:26 AM
just imagine how far down on the list of republican campaign strategy putting Palin on SNL was. it's obvious they're trying anything and everything get something moving in their direction.
Posted by ken mehlman | October 19, 2008 11:32 AM
the rap song in Weekend Update w/ Palin doing her "hiphop" hand movements gave me the highest form of douchechills
Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2008 12:02 PM
it was a bad move to bring her on the show, NOW the republicans will win
Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2008 12:18 PM
i'm shocked that they allowed her to be made fun of like that on television. it just made her look dumb. hilarious.
Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2008 12:21 PM
I'd hit it. But I'd never vote for it.
Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2008 12:23 PM
The people that will vote for Palin will see it as credibility. The people that hate on Palin saw it for what it was. It was nothing new and no minds will change. Her mere presence on the 'hip' SNL will make the midwestern hicks excited and the subversive nature of the skit will always be lost on them anyhow.

I agree that she looked like a good sport, but do that shit AFTER the election (win or lose, really). Why the campaign would let her go on SNL and make fun of her immense shortcomings and stupidity 2 weeks before the election is beyond me.
Good for Obama, though.

I really like Sarah Palin. not because I think she is pretty, but because she is a wonderful politician and she is smart and brilliant!

Don't vote for either idiot: Obama or McCain. Both have lousy records. Vote for a third party and tell Washington to stop giving us crap candidates.
Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2008 9:12 PM
^ yeah, waste your vote. brilliant idea. that'll show 'em good!
Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2008 9:22 PM
At least my conscience will not be bothered by supporting terrible candidates such as McCain or Obama.
How is voting for a terrible candidate not a wasted vote? If you are voting for the lesser of two evils (Obama) you still get evil. Now THAT is a wasted vote.

Say hi to your motha for me..

This guy knows what's up. McCain and Obama are puppets for the elite and are corrupt as fuck.
If you truly desire "change" and put your country first you would vote for a third party as voting Rep. or Dem. is voting for the same bloody thing, in giving your freedom into the hands of maniacal globalists. (Remember Biden is totally pro war and pro patriot act. Obama is some lefty front man, media darling whose policies are just like Bush's when really researched.)
Ah fuck it bring on the next depression and WWIII!
Dumb arrogant americans believing all the hype spewed forth to them on every channel will elect these annointed CFR/globalists scumbags into office and pat themselves on the back for partaking in "democracy".
RESEARCH IT!

They love to make fun of her because she is an idiot. To vote for her is to be as dumb as she is...
Posted by Anonymous | October 20, 2008 6:49 AM
i was planning a retaliatory third party vote
until palin was thrown into the mix
I really think she is a VERY dangerous religious radical
with a HOMEY facade just what most of America goes for.

People like Palin the same way they like gameshow hosts, or Kathy Lee Gifford.
Please go away, lady.

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2008 7:09 PM
I think it is funny that SNL, often criticized for being too liberal, but always going after politicians regardless is being singled out. Maybe SNL is just getting a little free publicity. Other times SNL sketches make the news, regardless of who they are targeting, look at how Tina Fey's Sarah Palin imitations were played on the network news last year. It was so frequent people actually think it was Sarah Palin who said "I can see Russia from my house", not Tina Fey. But my argument for years has been, whether it is Fox or CNN or whatever, networks should be neutral ground. Both sides can give their comments or editorials, as long as they are stated as such. But I don't think a network or station should be 'liberal' or 'conservative'.
