I love this band, but on thursday they sounded lethargic and monotonous.

were they on acid at thursday night's show? stephen merrit said the light on the audience's faces made them look "like comic book characters" and there was a lot of talk about butterflies in the rafters.
not that i blame them. loews jersey is a pretty incredible building, as proven by the photos here.
