new secret machines is suprisingly good. I heard a lot of bad feedback recently, but it sounds like they got it together.

Agreed, new TSM is on par with their previous records. The mess that was the Highline Ballroom show is forgiven.

Secret Machines = 3 piece. Anything else...ala now...is quasi crap. The drummer is still the man though. Wicked good.

Terrible flashback moment....the 3am show at the Annex and that Highline Ballroom show just about erased ANY memory I had of the fantastic in the round gig at Warsaw.
Highline has been tainted ever since that night - absolutely horrific live music experience considering what everyone was expecting.

Man, I hope TSM got it right... Brother Ben should've done SVIIB as a side project.
They kicked so much ass live before he left, but I'll give the new disc a whirl when comes out.

the live show is heavy, the new set design is psyche-optical, phil is blowing all the kids away, they are in the prime!!! if you don't believe, go to the WMH show in nov. with dragons of zynth
