Trail of Dead - a NYC in-store Tuesday, more ATP pics

photos by Zach Dilgard, words by Black Bubblegum

Trail of Dead

As Andrew so eloquently pointed out, ...And You Will Know By The Trail Of Dead will play an instore at Generation Records on Oct 21 at 8PM. There are three ways to get in. First, you can swing by the store to pre-order a copy of the limited edition (only 3000 pressed) Festival Thyme 10-inch picture disc, where you'll also receive a signed flat from the band. Second, you can try your luck by RSVPing here. Winners will be notified on Sunday 10/19 if they made it onto the list.

The third way is to email us at BVCONTESTS@HOTMAIL.COM (subject: Trail Of Dead) and win one of five pairs of tickets available. Include your first & last name, and your guest's first & last name. Winners will be selected at random and contacted.

Trail Of Dead recently played ATP NY. We never posted all of those pictures, so here they are...

They are also headlining the annual Syndicate CMJ kickoff party on Monday.

these guys have sucked for over 10 years now, since they started.

never discount the power of a band's catchy name and the expectation that "you're supposed to like them" to carry a mediocre pile of crap's career for years and years

12:41 is an idiot.

Source Tags is one of the better albums of the last decade.

12:41 ... your point applies to 80% of the bands covered here and over at pitchfork

TOD ROCKED AT ATP!

these guys were one of my favorites from ATP!

they did not suck from the outset, they only began to suck when they signed to interscope. the production on source tags was way too slick, and the only saving grace of that album was 3 songs by neil busch and 3 songs by jason reese. it was unbelievable how fast conrad and interscope brought the band down after that. neil was the only smart one, he got out before losing his dignity.
