Keith Jarrett Trio live @ Carnegie Hall. Should be amazing show. Maybe not your typical Brooklynvegan act but without question one of the greatest living musicians of all time and definitely deserves all the respect in the world.

Eh I prefer Keith solo. I find the trio to be a little boring. I also hate Gary Peacock.

just got this:

---

Once upon a time...you discovered yourself in a club for the first time.

The same nightlife rhythm that distracted you then....is really a constant in your life - admit it.
The ritual, the hunt, the beats, the incarnation night and again of torturous temptations and the sheer joy of forgetting who you are when you find yourself on the dancefloor.

TONIGHT we take the opportunity to throw an impromptu party in a space that is mid-creation: The Studio @ Webster Hall. Webster Hall has been a mainstay in NYC nightlife for over 120 years. Our attention span is short, so we're in awe of any club could possibly sustain that long. Webster Hall has found a way to maintain as a permanent thread in the NYC nightlife fabric all the while reinventing themselves. The Studio @ Webster Hall is their newest endeavor. An intimate performance space just right to make us squeeze together, get a little sweaty, and catch up on good music.

TONIGHT Webster Hall has graciously allowed us to christen their fledgling space with KORRUPTION. As their contractors are racing to beat the clock and finish the space - The KORRUPT crew is unphased by the rawness and the imperfections. We prefer to be in the midst of beautiful chaos - after all we create it with ease.

Come for the lineup - it's fierce.
Come for the extras: girls, boys, jello shots, cum shots, light up robots, wings, treats.
Come get KORRUPTED, come KORRUPT us.

TONIGHT: SATURDAY OCTOBER 18TH
KORRUPT VII: The Anatomy Of A Party
The Approach, The Music, The People, The Sex, The Atmosphere,
The Buzz, The Volume and of course...The Anticipation

After being mocked for her folksy style and her perceived lack of substance on NBC's 'Saturday Night Live,' Sarah Palin will get the last laugh Saturday when she appears on the sketch comedy show for the first time.

Political analysts say Palin's appearance likely will help her image but probably not the Republican presidential ticket.

"It always helps to laugh at yourself, to have a little fun with yourself," FOX News analyst Susan Estrich, a former Democratic strategist, said. "But I think at this stage of the campaign, it's Obama vs. McCain, not Palin vs. Biden."

The Alaska governor will be appearing with host Josh Brolin, the star of Oliver Stone's W., a new movie about President Bush.

Former 'SNL' writer and star Tina Fey has returned this season to provide a dead-on impression of Palin that has helped has helped the show draw its highest ratings in years. But whether Palin and Fey will appear together has not been announced.

Palin suggests her fate is in the hands of the show's writers.

"I haven't seen a script, not at all. They haven't even hinted about what the script is going to say," she told radio talk-show host Neal Boortz on Friday.

"But you know, I just want to be there to show Americans that we will rise above the political shots that we take because we're in this serious business for serious challenges that are facing the good American people right now," she said.

Estrich said Palin needs to send a message to her supporters that the race isn't over just because the GOP ticket is trailing in the opinion polls.

"Part of the problem is a dynamic can set in where your supporters begin to think it's over, it's done and that's a self fulfilling prophecy," she said.

How were the Secret Machines? I regret not going. The new record is pretty solid.
