is it me or was singing jens dj pretty lame?
Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2008 5:58 AM
yes, singing DJ was lame and i was looking forward to jens the most. oh well.
Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2008 8:09 AM
Good thing I left right before Jens. I was beat anyway.
Posted by michaelways | October 22, 2008 8:30 AM
Agreed that Jens was a disappointment, there was way too much DJing and not enough singing. Ponytail and Passion Pit were fantastic.

I would just like to say Nymph, the first band that opened for Deerhoof was pretty damn interesting, however the second band was a bit ridiculous. Deerhoof were their usuall excellent selves.
However, all in all it was a depressing show, since we're all spiraling down to a third world country status and soon will all be fired and looking for work under the bridge.

I was a little disappointed in the lack of energy in the audience during Ponytail. Did see Beach House dancing and singing during the set though.
