Andrew Bird rocking for Barack (more by Kyle Dean Reinford)
Barack Rock

Tickets are on sale for Andrew Bird's Carnegie Hall show.

Loney, Dear isn't opening for Andrew at the NYC show (Dosh is), but Loney, Dear is playing every other 2009 Andrew Bird show just announced. Loney, Dear (I hate that comma in his name) is playing NYC soon though - in December with Melpo Mene.

Had some initial lag, but picked up two seats on the floor- row X. Looking forward!

well if you were actually able to get to the ticketing page this posting would be helpful

As I wrote in the other thread, managed to snag two 2nd row seats right in the middle at approximately 11:02 on the first try. Thought to myself, "wow, that was easy, what a great ticket site."

Then was curious what seats were available right afterwards so tried to log in again...but kept getting a message saying "the server was experiening high traffic, try again." Guess I just got lucky then...about freaking time.

I got Row B, 101/102. Dropped them for something in the center, found nothing decent, gave up. Congrats to whoever got them (probably a scalper).

I just got seventh row after a half hour. Best way to get good tickets with the Carnegie is to call them directly
