I bought a badge this year and used it once.
With all the free parties, free open bars, and free shows (i.e. seeing Monotonix three times for free) - who needs a badge anymore?

please don't start any arguments about whether or not you need a badge or whether or not cmj is fun.
badge: no
fun: can be
that's it.

I'll never understand why writing "first!!!" in a thread is funny or gives you a sense of accomplishment. Who started this trend?

worst dates ever.

hey mike dickface --
10:24 wasn't writing first. rather, 10:24 was first to point out that cmj sucks this year (in this thread).

What're the odds CMJ will still be in business next October?

Stop making people think I am you.
Be somebody else.

Damn it. They're already turning away badges for the Sub Pop at Bowery Ballroom. I'm getting there earlier in 2010.

did subpop even have a showcase this year?
