Michael Showalter & Michael Ian Black - free MySpace show

Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter (2/3 of Stella) are playing a free MySpace Secret Stand Up show at Caroline's Comedy Club in NYC on Thursday November 6th. As you can see from the picture above, the show is affiliated with the New York Comedy Festival that kicks off today (Wednesday, November 5th).
All of Stella are touring, and playing 2 NYC shows, in December. You can watch them discuss president-elect Barack Obama in the video below...
The video was taped at Bowery Ballroom at the Barack Rock show before Super Tuesday.

anyone else getting sick of these same names in New York comedy, over and over again?

I'm getting sick of these two names, anyway. Michael Ian Black used to be funny... Michael Showalter is a hack. Saw him open for John Vanderslice a couple weeks ago... painful! He has a stupid laptop with him on stage that he reads his jokes from. And his "jokes" weren't even funny.
