"After winning a bid for a 20 year, rent-free lease in downtown Brooklyn, ISSUE Project Room celebrated its victory [on Tuesday] with a benefit at Santos' Party House in Chinatown. A crowd of electronic music connoisseurs took in the sounds of David Linton, Alex Waterman, Charles Cohen, Fair Use Trio, Moby plus many others. The evening was hosted by all-round genius artist and avant-garde pioneer, Tony Conrad.

Since 2003 Project Room has provided a leading-edge performance art space dedicated to experimental music, filmmaking, reading, and sound installation. Currently located at The Can Factory in Gowanus, it will soon take over a stunning 4800 square foot landmark theatre at 110 Livingston Street. [Barely Brooklyn]

And Moby? You can get stomped by Obie
You thirty-six year old baldheaded fag, blow me
You don't know me, you're too old, let go
It's over, nobody listen to techno.

Moby the best techno musician of all time. His songs are very soulful if you can understand them properly.

So unfortunate, that comment about good soul Moby by that person under the tag "Eminem." This seems to be sorta common at Bklyn Vegan; I don't know why but someone always goes around posting really mean things in the same style about people for no reason, on this site. Free speech is important of course but pure meanness posted by cowards who don't even put their real name to take responsibility for their hatred, lies and slander is just sad. Happened to me on Bklyn Vegan too, and I see it happen to others. It discourages me from visiting this site. It is a shame cause whoever this fake "eminem" is clearly needs to find somethin better to do with their time than be skulking around sites rackin up enough bad karma to sink a flotilla.

Moby, you played a transcendant set at the Issue benefit, and we music lovers are all truly grateful for your presence there and contributions.

fellow vegan and musician,
Rebecca

i believe the person posting under the tag "Eminem" was posting the actual lyrics to the Eminem song "Without Me" where the real Slim Shady takes some lyrical jabs at Moby.

here's some background info:

"The feud started at 2001's Grammy's, when Moby called Eminem ''a misogynist, a homophobe, a racist, and an anti-Semite.'' Eminem responded with a few lines in his recent hit ''Without Me,'' addressing him with the words ''you 36-year-old bald-headed fag, blow me.'' Moby says he didn't take that personally either, writing, ''I think that Eminem is talented and interesting, but I'm kind of stunned at the anger that he has for me seeing as I'd never met him up until the VMAs.''

I was pretty impressed with Moby's set at Issue Project, albeit short. It was definitely not what I expected to hear from him but pretty well received by everyone I saw at least.

If you are willing to buy a house, you will have to get the loan. Furthermore, my brother usually takes a commercial loan, which is the most fast.
