Brownstone Letterman

Speaking of cover bands, here's the video of Mr. Brownstone playing Letterman on Wednesday...

And speaking of Guns N Roses, Chinese Democracy is streaming at MySpace.

And speaking of Takka Takka, they're playing The Bell House with Loney, Dear & Melpe Mene.

And speaking of Takka Takka and covers, Takka Takka covers Phil Collins on the new Guilt by Association comp.

Dude's voice just doesn't cut it... that being said, I'd rather see Mr. Brownstone than the new GnR perform "Chinese Democracy"

this letterman performance really doesn't do them justice.

Mr Brownstone sans booze is hardly Mr Brownstone.

Get off of TV! Please. Before you ruin your reputation as putting on a wildly fun show, which is true.

wow, Dave's gettin' desperate huh?

everything about this is just outright awful.

what is the point? a band that made one decent aerosmith album in 1987 doesn't call for a tribute band. the rest of their catalog is fucking terrible. "get in the ring"? holy shit. atrocious.

"Dude's voice just doesn't cut it... "

I hope they were just fired up or nervous because that sounds terrible. But many more professional bands have sounded awful on TV so I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt. But wow, that does not live up to all the great things I've heard about them.

they are usually better. I am usually drunker.

oh my. wow. and i thought GnR were looking/sounding bad these days. This is sad.

This is awesome. I am amazed that you people don't get the joke! They are 1/2 Guns n Roses, 1/2 Spinal Tap. Hilarious.

2 best shows I've seen this year- Girl Talk & Mr. Brownstone. It's a great time for music. 2008 will go down as a very important year.

Is that Adam Sandler playing Axl ?

Posted by RT | November 21, 2008 10:08 PM

So, two TOTAL POSEUR acts indicate an important year in music?

"So, two TOTAL POSEUR acts indicate an important year in music?"

Yeah... we finally got rid of that annoying "song-writing". Yuck!
