Pattern Is Movement

Pattern is Movement were some busybodies during CMJ. Among other things, they rocked the Brooklyn Vegan Saturday day party at Knitting Factory, got a couple mentions in the New York Times, and played one day of the Gothamist CMJ party series with Bell at the Bell House (Oct 22nd). At that show the duo was joined on stage by Daniel Hart aka mastermind behind The Physics Of Meaning who played right before them, and who also plays violin on their album. You might also recognize Dan (pictures below) as a member of St Vincent's band and John Vanderslice's band.

Philly's Pattern is Movement return to NYC tonight, Tuesday November 18th to play the Knitting Factory. The show is part of a mini-trek with Zach Hill and the hiatus-ing Subtle who are both also on the bill.
