BV,
I thought it worth mentioning that Sisters of Mercy is playing Irving Plaza tomorrow (Monday). Tickets are kind of expensive, but it'll definitely be worth it - they only play shows in the US once in a blue moon, and are really terrific to see live.

Matisyahu is in Montclair, NJ..which is like 20 miles out of the city. I don't think the NJ transit trains even run there on the weekend.

Yeah, Harvey Milk, Killdozer, and Toumani Diabate all playing in one day, pretty shitty day for music! Man theres never any good acts passing in this town!

Anon @ 11AM. Quit being Anti-Semetic. After 2000 years of oppression you still feel the need to hate on this Jewish brother. Sigh, some things will never change. Matis will sell out all 7 of his Manhattan concerts leaving Anti-Semites like you looking for tickets on Craigslist at the last minute.

you're not anti semetic if you think matisyahu's music sucks. You would just be any normal person.
Not to mention he's a real phony and a gimmick by breaking all the Jewish laws like performing on Friday and Saturday.

Anon @ 12:11 AM. Maybe you should turn down "Electric Feel" on your Zune. Its clearly affecting your judgment.
Any day with a rare Killdozer show in NYC is a great day for music. Killdozer were *amazing* at the knit last night.
