What's better at RCMH - row D center on 1st mezz, or HH on the side in the orchestra? Weird how fast these tickets go - logged in at noon, and the best seats were gone.

I think any double letters are better at radio hall then the mezzanine because the mezzanine doesn't start until row k in the orchestra (single alphabet is after double alphabet)

My Morning Jacket/Arcade Fire can sell out RCMH, Mr. Byrne can sell this place out right???

Relatively, any seat in there is good. I would say the mezz is better than deep orchestra, as the sound mix will be more even there. Side seats in the front orch are very good, surprisingly. This show is going to be shit hot.

"My Morning Jacket/Arcade Fire can sell out RCMH, Mr. Byrne can sell this place out right???"

Ummm, yeah...and quickly.

I am sure that this will sell out and (sadly) will be heavily scalped. This is one of those cross-generational shows that will attracted everyone from 21 to 60, especially in light of the recent set lists that have been fairly heavy on Talking Heads songs.

$80 for a nice orchestra seat is well worth it.

i got 2 for 6th row. inside i am crying, but it will be worth every penny. it will satisfy my need for live byrne hopefully for the rest of my life...

i have unused Poughkeepsie, NY and Carnegie Hall that went unused...after seeing him at Joe's Pub on St Patrick's Day, I kinda lost control over the submit button for his tour after...ended up eating those because other obligations...

i got sect 5 (just off center), row XX (aisle seats near the center). haven't been to RCMH in years. are they good?

front row of 2nd mezz, 500s. no complaints here

Did double letter orchestra tickets go on sale? i went right at noon and got row A. I was looking for three, though.

Hmm obviously they did (anon 1:11) but any of the really good ones? Where does the price go up to $130?

Posted by Anonymous | December 8, 2008 4:05 PM

again, i ask those who know RCMH better than me, is section 5, row XX, aisle seats near the center any good?

by the way, i saw many seats in rows LL and KK in the orchestra for $79, but they were in sections 2 and 6 and were pretty far off to the side so i opted for further back more centered.

good?

Most of the front double letter orchestra section went to Amex Gold Card. First several rows were $129.

XX center is good. You'll be dead center in the middle of the orch. Even the seats off to the side are good. Really, there's hardly a bad seat in Radio City. That place is awesome.
