the Dickies

PB: Which English bands inspired you?

Dickies guitarist Stan Lee: I liked The Damned and The Buzzcocks. I saw The Damned at the Starwood [LA] when there was about 14 people watching them. And I went 'Yeah - I'm going to start learning to play guitar'.

The Damned were supposed to play two upcoming NYC shows - one on New Years Eve, and one a day earlier. Now they are playing the Chance on December 30th, and only one NYC show (on New Years Eve) (tickets). The Dickies are also playing New Years in NYC...

Are you guys sure about your Damned info? It is still 12/31 at Blender on ticketmaster and the Blender site. Also the Blender site shows Greg Allman is playing there on 1/2/09.

Damn. thanks for pointing that out. I got an email from someone working for the Damned listing the wrong dates. They are playing NYC on New Years Eve still, BUT they are not playing December 30th as originally announced. That show is now at The Chance. updated, thanks!

I was supposed to record a session with DAMNED for WFMU.
Unfortunately someone with the DAMNED is gravely sick.
(I don't know who). This is the Press Release I recieved regarding the rest of their American tour.
