Agreed 11:00. Sirius does the same thing with the TVOTR track, same one over and over again when they have the whole album to play with. I don't understand it.

this band sounds like snow patrol fronted by the guy from the kooks

this band sounds like shit.
Robert Pollard said about ten years ago that the last good British rock band was the Jesus and Mary Chain. Maybe not 100% true, but fucking close.

"the best new band in britain"
NME sure is some good comedy magazine, they even outdo Rolling Stone!
Bless them, they always crack a good laugh out of me...

I like this album. Not sure where all the hate is coming from.

Glasvegas fucking rules bro.

I'm so fucking glad we're bros, bro!

They sound like they would suck live and they aren't even that impressive to spend the money to see live.
Posted by Dooder City | December 3, 2008 1:30 PM
...one more thing, I realized that they cover "come as you are" how yawning.

I was on the fence about this band and realized that my female friends (who are britphiles) ALL love this band so... they ae a fucking chick band.
Do you need me to describe what that is?

i can't believe 2008 is almost over. Glasveags were my favorite new comers of the year. And I dug their awesome choices for best of 2008.
Glasvegas' top 10 is a featured list on erockster.com, you gotta check it out.

The Glassholes are the shitetest band in rock today. They have a female shite drummer that makes Maureen Tucker sound like John Bonham. Watch is open-mouthed wonder as the Glassholes ride a tidal wave of Arctic Monkeys-like hype over to the US, and sell out shows to the hipsters in Williamsburg. They are on Letterman tonight and already I can smell the shite in the air from Manhattan. Ahhhhh, the fuckin' Glassholes are back!

It just really HURTS to have some normal kids make good, don't it? No great story, just songs that people like. ARGH! ha ha ha.

I thought the show was very dull tonight.
Dont believe the hype, style over substance.
Go write some tunes boys.

I hear that the Glasholes were shite tonight, as ever. No surprise there. By this time next year, the critics will hate them and they'll be finished with the hipsters. A band with a fat and balding Joe Strummer and a fat Moe Tucker wannabe is never going very far.

come on, this band isnt bad. they are just undeservedly popular (like MGMT). no reason to HATE them. well maybe there is. i fucking hate mgmt. hippie bullshit.

MGMT are the Beatles and the Stones all in one next to the talentless Glasholes. They can blow the Glasholes off the stage any night of the week.
