Illinois - 2008 Tour Dates, residencies, webisodes, something


It's taking me too long to figure out what the heck is going on with the band Illinois and their new "The Adventures of Kid Catastrophe" "webisodes", so just know that chapter one premiered at Spin, chapter two premiered at Blender, and the band is playing a show in multiple cities (residencies) every time a new chapter is released and the NYC show for chapter two is tonight/Wednesday at Rehab. All tour dates and the series trailer below...

man i used to love this band and the two ep's they put out but this new stuff isn't up to speed with the old releases. just put out a full length album please!!

i bought chapter 1 off iTunes, the track 'hang on' is amazing. good to see these dudes back in action.

hang on is the fing jam, so is the video.
i really dig what this band is doing, outside of the box, criss-crossing genres and still sounding like illinois, unafraid to be artistic and poetic what they r doing is interesting. yeah i guessss they could just put out an album but why not do something different. i think its cool.
and i cant wait to see them live!!!! tonight!!!!!

love illinois...anyone know if they're headed to sxsw this year? the show at the diesel thing a few years ago was insane.
