I went for the night marchers and left an OBITS fan!

Two Tears?

More like bored to tears.

Sorry, no Two Tears photos. I only got there to catch 1-1/2 songs, which were pretty tight. Definitely similar sounding to their old bad Red Aunts.

This Obits show was as good as I've seen them. A much better mix than the Music Hall show in October.

And Speedo and the Night Marchers were amazing, working the crowd really well. Reis had the crowd throwing their shoes at him. and they also passed out some beers, and liquor.

great great show

did obits have anything other releases for sale besides the on cross apiece 7"?

one cross apiece*

They ran out of the single very early last night. Loved the new songs.

You can see me in that crowd shot since I am very tall! I wonder of Jonnnnny Leather saw any suspicious latinos.

crowd shots are by Faith Ann Young

nightmarchers were the best ive seen them of the three times this year...totally tight.

obits have really gelled into a solid band...i just miss some of the original guitar versions rick did when they first started playing.

Did Jony Leather get attacked again? Maybe he is safe in Manhattan. I saw one latino guy there, but he was just the bar back. I bet Jony was scared.

Those pictures suck. It's understandable if you needed to use 1 or 2 because there was nothing else, but a dozen crappy images is too much.

There was one guy with a big camera setup. Are these the pictures or was it another photographer? Stick to the ghetto Johnny.

these pictures are great. Anon 11:12 is a moron.

Two Tears were ok. They couldn't be more out of tune or have less of an idea how to play there instruments. Singer is hot though -- think she's from the Red Aunts?

Obits were great.

Night Marchers were insanely good.

what a great fucking show!!!!!
holy shit!!!

A wonderful time indeed. Night Marchers exuded raw energy and I also enjoyed the topical between-song sidebars Reis delivered. Obits were also fun - Rick was amazing - but I thought that drummer was flat and lifeless. A good show for them regardless. Does the Obits bass player look like a young Robert Redford to anyone else?

nice guys and all, but who's into this kind of music? alternative rock . . . jeez.

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2008 1:43 PM

great show. obits crushed. can't wait for the album to come out.

Posted by Anonymous | December 19, 2008 2:48 PM

alternative rock???? yeah, ok.

Regarding the comment left by Wingwalker 77 on the Two Tears performance; you spelled "their" wrong.

Posted by Two Tears | December 23, 2008 12:22 PM

Yeah and he (or she) is sexist in addition to being stoopid!
