Surprised Head Automatica didn't coke themselves out of existence. Also surprised because I thought Daryl was presently playing in some other shitty band. Lay-me.

Why is every show AE presale. Bowery Presents is responsible for this.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2008 11:25 AM

black lips should change their name to soft lips.

Then they'd kinda be pussies too. There name would even remind people of pussy.

But as long as they kept pissing on other people and themselves at shows I'm sure their cred would mostly remain in tact.

Passion Pit is only $13. nice

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2008 11:29 AM

I like that they do these presales now. Makes it easier for me to get tickets.

Posted by Am Ex carrier | December 10, 2008 11:33 AM

BV, do you have an AmEx?

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2008 11:37 AM

4th row for Kweller. Thanks..

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2008 11:37 AM

so does this mean i can get these tickets today @ mercury lounge? or because its cash only i have to wait till friday? i have an amex, but it doesnt mean i want to pay a bunch of fucking fees to score tix a day early. man. this sucks.

Posted by sloweducation | December 10, 2008 11:45 AM

You have to wait until Friday. Thank Bowery Presents.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2008 11:48 AM

You won't be able to buy at the mer lounge til friday. That is the unfortunate part of these presales.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2008 11:49 AM

do they limit how many tickets can be sold on the Am Ex presales?

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2008 11:57 AM

why are people so freaked out by American Express? Fucking apply for one and you have one. big fucking deal.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2008 11:57 AM

its not that we are freaked out by AMEX, its that I(we?) would rather a show not sell out from pre-sales when we could skip all the fees and deal with a human being instead. i HAVE an amex and am annoyed by this. Thanks BOWERY!

Posted by sloweducation | December 10, 2008 12:04 PM

this makes me hate and loathe bowery presents even more than I did before.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2008 12:18 PM

you are so dumb. So I have to make $------, just to buy a ticket for $20?????

Kellogg's Kream Krunch = KKK
nice post, racist.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2008 12:22 PM

I don't want to curse - but I feel like cursing bowery presents. They are taking away the concerts from the little people. A person does not have to be rich to buy a ticket for $20-25, but you do have to be well-off to have an AE- with perfect credit.
I HATE BOWERY PRESENTS.
They are just out for the $$$$$$

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2008 12:23 PM

You can get Amex Blue for free and you get cash back with it. I used it for the presale no problem.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2008 12:28 PM

At least the ticketmaster fees are low for most of these shows - $3 or so per ticket is not that bad to ensure that you get tickets before the general onsale.

Anon @12:28 is right - get an Amex Blue. They give them out to just about anyone. You certainly don't need perfect credit.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2008 12:36 PM

SHUT UP...seriously, just shut up!

You have enough money and spare time to go to the concert in the first place....life obviously isn't that bad for you.

Loser.

we are all losers! we are posting on BROOKLYN VEGAN!

Posted by sloweducation | December 10, 2008 3:23 PM

as I understand it only a small % of the tickets are avail for the amex presales. so even if an amex presale "sells out" the large majority of tix will still be avail to the public whenever they go onsale
