Tindersticks - 2009 Tour Dates (Brooklyn Masonic Temple)

Tindersticks

Following their reformation and the release of new Constellation album The Hungry Saw in 2008, we are pleased to announce legendary UK band Tindersticks will be bringing their inimitable sound and songcraft to North American stages for the first time in over five years. Led by the voice and lyricism of Stuart Staples, Tindersticks have always expertly conjured complex emotions and double-edged narratives through a sultry, swirling, finely orchestrated music that is gently uplifting, beautifully arranged, and shot through with dark tension.

The masonic temple is a shockingly bad venue. Can bands please stop playing there? It's just a total nusiance.

Yeah but it's the fucking tindersticks.

Saw them in central park a few years back and at St. Ann's warehouse before then. Gorgeous, spell-binding shows. Can't wait.

huge!!!I saw them in 1993 in Cambridge at the Middle East with about 20 people in the room. They were brilliant, but most likely not interested in coming back to the Boston area, because the attendance was so poor. Genius band!!!!

buddy of mine flew to London to see them last week and said it was the best of the TWELVE times he has seen the band over the years. I am really HOPING for some West Coast dates in late March..perhaps San Fran (BIMBOS!). There's no way I am risking travelling to Boston or Chicago in early March... my luck I would end up trapped in an airport for 3 days or something (would be worth it it theory only!). Why no Texas date/s ? (Austin ???)
