The Watson Twins are awful - It's a shame that they opened up for Billy Bragg during his recent tour.

"2. Everest, Ghost Notes (Vapor Records)"

"Russell Pollard, the L.A. band [Everest]'s frontman, values the sentiment, but after two decades as a working musician, he also didn't need the reminder. Pollard, like his bandmates, has slogged it out since 1990 in the L.A. music scene. He's drummed for Sebadoh and the Folk Implosion, and he's played and produced for the Watson Twins (he happens to be married to the folk duo's Chandra Watson). "

They're also the band on tour with Neil Young and Wilco

Whether a disc is released on a major label or not should not be a factor in determining what music fans deem to be a good disc.

-----------------------
It's not a factor in determining good music for me, but I don't let it become a restraint in seeking out new music, I'm just sayin' - ain't a level playing field.

Commence debate on DIY vs. indie artistes.

The fact is Filter was covering most of these 'major label' bands loooooong before they were signed to major labels.

I'd hit it.
I'd hit it.

If I was Billy Bragg, I would ask them to go on your with me too.
