typical yo la tengo fan review: it was better in the past...or maybe im just getting old and dont feel like standing for 3 hours.

the opener was meh...70s johnny thunders style rock...hit or miss and mostly miss.

yo la were great but really didnt read the crowd well. they played way too many slow songs even though they were some of my favorites from painful and electr-pura...i ended up leaving just as they started the encore.

big day coming was nice...and the left bank cover.

funny, I thought the crowd applause was most appreciate for the slow songs. I definitely thought I was at a MBV concert during parts of the 2nd half.
