The Brighton Port Authority (Fatboy Slim)'s album "I Think We're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat" won't be released until February, except on Amazon.com where you can get it now. Guest contributors to the album include Iggy Pop, Jack Penate, Dizzee Rascal, Emmy the Great, Jamie T, Martha Wainwright, and David Byrne. David's song (the one with the racy video) is "Toe Jam". That's also the song they're giving away the parts for if you want to make your own remix (though the contest part of it is over).
Tickets for David Byrne's 2nd NYC show at Radio City Music Hall go on regular-sale today/Monday at 10AM. The few-day-old presale is now over. All of David's tour dates are listed HERE.
Emmy the Great recently visited America for NYC's CMJ Music Marathon. "America" is the topic in The BPA's 2nd single "Seattle" that she sings on. Grab the MP3 above. Watch the video for that, and the one David & Dizzee sing in, below...

The track with Iggy, "He's Frank," is a cover of the Monochrome Set song.
I have to admit I don't *hate* these tracks. Norman was smart to retire the Fatboy moniker and (somewhat) reinvent what he does.

yeah honestly these tracks are okay (toe jam the best of the batch so far), but a collabo project like this is just going to get outshined by the NASA release in february
