"This inauguration day, join (Le) Poisson Rouge in celebrating the historic inauguration of our 44th President with live sets that turn hip hop on its head with guitar-driven feedback, make the most of heavy metal soul, and see one of DC's own legendary punk rockers take the stage. The concert celebrating this historic event will feature live performances by Apollo Heights, 24-7 Spyz and HR (of Bad Brains)."

This next one is not Inauguration-themed, but it is also tonight (1/20). You've heard Thurston Moore say he likes them. Black Bubblegum likes them too. Black metal band Malkuth is playing Glasslands Gallery.

Agreed.

Cheney in the wheelchair is a cop out and a farce. He probably didn't want to do anything- Fake injury,
OR the door hit him in the ass on the way out of the Whitehouse..

There's something about him that I never trusted, even moreso than Bush. Exactly what did Dick do for America in 8 years? He was barely visable.
