Ra Ra Riot add NYC show at Webster Hall, tix on sale today

Ra Ra Riot @ Bowery Ballroom recently (more by Tim Griffin)
Ra Ra Riot

Many were disappointed when Ra Ra Riot's recently announced tour only contained one NYC date and it was not only an expensive benefit, but already sold out (sort of) (pics). Then came a second announcement. This time they added many more tour dates, mostly with Death Cab For Cutie, but still no NYC show. Today that changed. Tickets go on sale at noon for an April 4th show at Webster Hall.

I'm not sure who is currently playing drums. After John Pike passed, it has been a rotating chair (I think). Anyway, they used to have this guy that looked like he was 15 playing drums. And this kid was sick. It was like watching Dave Grohl. If he is still in the band, go see them just for the drummer.

Ditto the recommendation. They're incredible, and this will probably be one of your last chances to catch them before they head off to work on the next album.

The NYU thing is an interesting (though pretty good) lineup.

Seems better compared to the webster hall show (smaller venue, better line up, cheaper).
