if they are doing radio city with this you can bet there'll be some of the bigger names.

is there some actual proof of this?

Posted by Anonymous | February 11, 2009 1:23 PM

If Stuart Murdoch is going to be there.... so will I.

A little Arcade Fire, MMJ and The National would be pretty sweet too. Hopefully Sufjan and the Decemberists stay home.

"is there some actual proof of this?"

Something tells me BV does not post stuff like this lightly...

As far as proof, get off your ass and do some digging.

they shot something last night at a loft on n.4th with the national, dirty projectors and yeasayer. apparently each did one song. im assuming this is for some promo for dark was the night.

Posted by Anonymous | February 11, 2009 1:47 PM

I think the National are going to put out an EP instead, "Boxer Briefs."

Posted by Anonymous | February 11, 2009 4:05 PM

tour just announced. No ny date yet.

Posted by Anonymous | February 11, 2009 4:06 PM

i feel like they won't play nyc on this little leg. they played probably at least 15 nyc shows over the course of boxer.

i'm bummed to see them playing somewhere large and awful like electric factory though in philly. they should play somewhere smaller. there's gonna be a bunch of yappers at these shows during the new quiet songs.

Posted by Anonymous | February 11, 2009 4:20 PM

Why aren't they playing the Tower Theatre? Much, much better venue than Electric Factory. I'd rather see a show ANYWHERE but EF. That place is a complete shithole.
