"you're welcome!!!!"

Actually I didn't see your comment, but thanks!

Posted by brooklynvegan | February 19, 2009 2:14 PM

the biggest little bitch on this website is wembley

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 2:16 PM

LOL @ Wembley

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 2:21 PM

so, I'm assuming these shows will sell right out?

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 2:31 PM

hey... I was just teasing. No hating on the BV! He probably got the same email I did.

Posted by wembley | February 19, 2009 2:42 PM

does that ovation tix link not work for anyone else? when I go to "series calender" I get an error - seems sketchy

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 2:49 PM

of course the link doesn't work, when they say "Tickets go on sale February 20th" they usually mean it... still sketchy?

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 2:59 PM

some people are slow on the uptake

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 3:16 PM

FYI to everyone, nobody cares that you got an email first.

kthxbye

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 3:23 PM

yo, all-
BV (bitches that they are) changed my anonymous post to a fake account name (2:03 "lovesTAP")... BV, really? way to prove that you are a little bitch.

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 3:35 PM

Nobody cares about your stupid comment 3:23. You should go back to posting on the Katy Perry forums.

kthnxbye!

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 3:47 PM

hey I am slow on the uptake!! sheesh

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 3:48 PM

what does TAP really mean? i think i've heard people use it as different things and i want to know what is the actual definition.
thanks-

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 3:55 PM

tuition assistance program. it's a socioeconomic joke.

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 4:08 PM

To answer a question above

The tickets go on sale tomorrow at NOON

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 4:22 PM

^really?

not:
tight asian p*ssy, or
t*ts a$$ and p*ssy, or (the dredful)
triple anal penetration

none of these?

or is one of them correct in the slang meaning of TAP? do any of you out there use this acronym?

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 4:22 PM

In Wembly's post it says:

*Please note, the link will not be active until this Friday.

Also, just a shot in the dark, but does anyone know how much tickets will be? Or does anyone have a ballpark based on past Iron & Wine shows? (I was going to get a pair as a gift.) I'm still smarting about that PJ Harvey price tag & not having found out about it until the moment tickets went on sale. If I'm priced out I'd like to know about it before I attempt to buy tix tomorrow!

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 4:24 PM

Seriously though. BV never gives credit for tips.

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 4:28 PM

I think they're going to be $25, plus a few bucks in fees

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 4:30 PM

Tickets $25 (available February 20th)... don't you guys know how to read at all? still sketchy? :)

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 4:30 PM

BV credits "Anon" with a link to the comment all the time. He lifts entire posts from other sites, fails to credit sources, and often just plain rips off stuff. But when it comes to crediting anonymous tips posted as comments here, he's flawless.

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 4:31 PM

If you hate BV's practices so much, quit giving page views, you are only perpetuating it by complaining. I, for one, enjoy BV and its plagiarism.

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 4:38 PM

First, how do you know BV is a he?

Second, cite proof. You can ramble off a list of charges and have no evidence.

"Anonymous 4:31 is a rapist that killed his brother and ate the balls off a teacher on a trip to DC."

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 4:45 PM

When you think BV is "He lifts entire posts from other sites," I am pretty sure he's just cut/pasting from a press release... no need for credit there.

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 4:47 PM

^disturbing.

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 4:47 PM

shut it

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2009 5:15 PM

"He lifts entire posts from other sites, fails to credit sources, and often just plain rips off stuff. "

Not true, but nice try

Posted by brooklynvegan | February 19, 2009 6:12 PM

"Seriously though. BV never gives credit for tips."

also not true.

Posted by brooklynvegan | February 19, 2009 6:17 PM

which Go-Bot is that in the picture?

Posted by hoobajoob Jr. | February 19, 2009 9:42 PM

I wonder what these will sell for on the free market?

Posted by rod munch | February 20, 2009 1:02 AM

Publicists send it to him and he posts it... He is a media outlet to a very direct audience.

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2009 9:08 AM

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2009 10:04 AM

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2009 10:08 AM

Sunday is already sold out, Monday still available

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2009 10:11 AM

Anybody know what the capacity is at Abrons Art Center?

300?

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2009 10:17 AM

Yea, I was wondering the same thing? It says intimate on the tickets site.

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2009 10:20 AM

Sunday's back on sale!

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2009 10:20 AM

So, if it's a theater w/ seats, how is it GA? Frist come, first served, like at a movie theater? That reeks of trouble if that's the case.

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2009 10:31 AM

it's not wu tang clan. the worst thing that's gonna happen is that someone might bump into your sierra nevada, spill it a little, apologize and buy you another.

Posted by jan janson | February 20, 2009 10:34 AM

I think the seated space is the Harry De Jur Playhouse. The Abrons Art Center is adjacent according to janson's link. It also mentions an outdoor space...maybe the shows are outside? But it also mentions three perfomance spaces inside.

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2009 10:47 AM

that noon business must have been sabotage.

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2009 12:05 PM

Sunday sold out now.

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2009 1:16 PM

so..there was an e-ticket option which i chose.. and I am really regretting it.. are tickets really only at will-call? It says so on the I+W site but why would the e-ticket option be available at all in the 1st place?

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2009 1:24 PM

i think there may be some credit card fraud going on at Ovation. I bought my tickets w/a seldom used card (that i keep for online purchases only) and a couple of hours later got a phone call from my bank saying that there was a security breach by a merchant.
it took some time to figure it out and freeze activity on the card.
watch your back, people. Especially you, Ovation.
