I got into the Beacon show. I imagine this will be a tougher ticket.

the beacon show was great. you're probably right that it will be harder to get a ticket

I love PJ. Seen her a few times. Once she came out wearing very high-heeled boots. One of her heels came off early on and she just took them off and played the whole show barefoot.

Does this mean she'll just be doing songs from their collaborations?

yes

My only problem is that in the past John Parish ruined anything PJ creates.
Their previous album together is the worse thing PJ has ever done.

Hope this is the right time...my 2009 hopes are mostly on them!

funny how tickets are allegedly available at the box office, considering they'll be sold out in seconds online. what's the deal with pre-sale?

"My only problem is that in the past John Parish ruined anything PJ creates."

Eh, listen to Heela, Taut, some of it is pretty intense.

does anyone know how much the tickets are gonna cost?

i was wondering the same thing, considering premium passes for SXSW are a good $1600, i think - and there's no way i'm going to have that kind of money in a month. but there are going to be plenty of shows you can get into either for free, or for a not-premium ticket (which is probably still very expensive, but also a lot more affordable). i hope they end up making it one of those shows. i'd hate to be a resident in the town she's playing in and not be able to see her at all! :(

liveon35mm.com - you couldn't be more wrong! If you don't like it, just don't listen or go to the show. PJ does not have any bad music - that's because she is the greatest woman in rock history - bar none!

John Parish is amazing! How can you think he ruins what she creates - the man taught her to play guitar! I heard they're gonna do another bunch of dates later in the year, so I'm not worrying about these ones - see Johnparish.com - it says 'first US tour'.

I heard from another messageboard (Livejournal I think) that they are doing a lot more dates here later in the year. Hopefully these will be more affordable.
