Pylon guitarist hospitalized after heart attack

"Pylon guitarist Randy Bewley suffered a heart attack while driving in an Athens neighborhood and is in the cardiac intensive care unit at Athens Regional Medical Center, bandmate Vanessa Hay said in an e-mail to supporters.Get well soon Randy.Bewley was driving on Barber Street on Monday evening, and his van drifted off the road and tipped over, Hay said.
Rescue workers treated him at the scene and took him to ARMC." [Online Athens]

probably coke or amphetamines.. kids don't get heart attacks unless they have a genetic condition and are playing basketball or something.. driving around athens is way to fun to tax the heart all that much.

Randy didn't do drugs. He took better care of himself than any musician I've ever known. He ate a very healthy diet and didn't drink. He had a history of diabetes. We will probably never know the real reason that he had a heart attack.
It would be better to remember him for the incredible talent that he had and for being a quiet unassuming family man who loved his sons.
