Anthrax was scheduled to go on around 9pm-ish, but the snowboard finals carried on until 10pm-ish, to comic results. One snowboarder didn't even reach the ramp, he derailed off the side. The announcers said it was over, but then they were like "no wait, two more runs". Some of the crowd left...the Anthrax fans grew impatient. It was freezing and a crappy DJ was playing gwen stefani, eurithmics and stuff the metal fans did not want to hear. By the time they did an awards ceremony on stage, the crowd was on the verge of booing, just wanting to hear Anthrax rock. (con't next post...)

(...con't from previous post) Around 10pm-ish, snowboard events finally done and Anthrax starts rocking. Some mosh pits opened up. They sounded nice. The 3rd song or so was Madhouse! Then Chuck D comes out to do Bring The Noise. It should have been a highlight. But the sound was cut off. It was a big time WTF moment. I was waiting for a band member to make a face or some kind of comment, but they played on as if nothing was wrong. (Bring the noise? More like bring the sound!) Word was that the cops shut it down because of the curfew. That was it. Barely five songs, I think. Crowd was pissed. Snowballs started flying towards the stage. It was on the verge of turning into a serious snow throwing riot, but I think people were so cold they just wanted to leave and get warm.
