The day the music died was the day Lady Sovereign picked up a microphone.

Tibet House show was pretty enjoyable except for the misplaced Zack Glass. Holy shit was he pedestrian. He looked like a high school girl trying to play in the NBA. It was the most egregious example of nepotism that a paying audience has been subjected to in a long time. The rest of the show almost made up for the 8 minutes that Zack wasted. I ran to take a piss during his second song, I should've taken a dump and missed it. Vampire Weekend played two quick songs and scurried off. The National played two new songs that showed off a couple of dudes on horns and the full piano on stage. The Patti Smith minus Patti had fun with a medley of Big Bopper/Buddy Holly/Ritchie Valens that led into Patti joining them for Not Fade Away/ I'll Be There/People Have the Power.
