As you know, The Wrens are back. They're playing SXSW in March, AND they're playing Bowery Ballroom right before that - on March 13th with Titus Andronicus, Bell and We Were Promised Jetpacks. The NYC show is a benefit for KEXP. Tickets go on sale Wednesday at noon.

wrens in 2005 = one of the best shows I've ever seen, and I've seen a lotta shows since 1975

I actually I am psyched for Titus but not The Wrens. I only saw them once like 4 years ago at Intonation Fest but was really dissapointed and bored by their set. Also saw Charles Bissel solo twice and was bored. Think ill just go to the other Titus nyc dates.

KEXP is also broadcasting in NY at 91.5FM (WNYE). Finally, good radio in NY!
