Beastie Boys & Depeche Mode playing Lollapalooza too?
Beastie Boys @ Terminal 5 in 2008 (more by Elizabeth Weinberg)

Thanks to Anon for pointing out that The Chicago Tribune has revealed Depeche Mode and the Beastie Boys as headliners at this year's Lollapalooza Festival. That would be IN ADDITION TO Jane's Addiction (who the Chicago paper also confirms) and Tool.
The Lollapalooza date fits nicely in to the gap between Depeche Mode's scheduled NYC & Seattle shows.
Beastie Boys are also playing Bonnaroo.

I would think this has got to piss off the promoter right? This is the second year in a row that the Tribune is leaking acts before the official announcement.

I like these bands and have seen all of them a few time. Which makes me have very little desire to go this festival. Why do all of these festival have such generic lineups these days.
