Grizzly Bear

Tickets are NOW on AM Ex presale (May 28 & May 29) for the two Grizzly Bear shows at Town Hall. That was fast. The shows weren't even listed on Ticketmaster at all this morning (thx anon).

You need to search under Town Hall.

What is the pw for preferred seating?

It isn't the customer service # as usual.

this confuses the fuck out of me. me & the internet have a love hate relationship.

I'm signed in, have an amex card on my account and I don't see anything under Grizzly Bear or Town Hall except a show in Vancouver. Its 10:58, are other people getting tix?

Posted by brad | March 4, 2009 10:58 AM

I get "Sorry, but this event no longer exists in our database" what am I doing wrong?

Posted by brad | March 4, 2009 11:01 AM

Click the damn link above.

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 11:04 AM

the original links works for me, but I updated it with direct links to each show to make sure.

how good are presale seats?

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 11:09 AM

not working for me either. does this require a specific type of Amex? I've got both corporate and starwoods saved on my ticketmaster account. when I click on the links or search grizzly bear or town hall I get nothin.

yeah - anyone know if the best seats sell now, in presales, or just some, or none... or what?

Posted by cd | March 4, 2009 11:16 AM

People relax...presale hasn't even started

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 11:31 AM

whats the password?

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 11:40 AM

is ANON @ 11:31 a red herring, others are saying they got it. Confused. :(

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 11:46 AM

>People relax...presale hasn't even started

Then how did I just buy tickets ?
The Amex thing has a limited supply of tickets..like 10% of the theatre or something. If all those tickets sell out quickly, which is very possible, there wont be any available until the regular onsale friday at noon...

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 11:53 AM

Those links don't work and Ticketmaster is cancelling all previous orders that were placed before the page was taken down.

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 11:57 AM

whats the preferred seating password yo!?

what am I missing ~slow on the uptake~

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 12:00 PM

Stop the bullshit please. Just go to ticketmaster, search for grizzly bear and purchase your tickets if you have an Amex card. It worked for me and it is still working.

i got orch tickets. it's legit.

Posted by grace6697 | March 4, 2009 12:38 PM

I got orchestra tix for Friday night. I had to have a friend look it up for me and purchase. On my office computer all I got was the error message that the event was no longer in TM's database. There must be a problem with the way some office networks/firewalls are set up that prevents TM's website from working correctly. so odd. anyone that knows something about computers have any idea why this happens? I've heard about other people having similar problems with the most recent Andrew Bird Amex presale for MHOW.

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 12:49 PM

It's legit -- the search finally worked for me when I switched from Firefox to Safari. (?!)

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 12:59 PM

It's legit. Got orch for both days.

FUCK am ex, or rather fuck ME for only having citi cards :(

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 1:12 PM

So I have a platinum AMEX card and preferred seating is always the 800 number on the back of my card. Definitely not working. Anyone have any luck with the preferred seating password? Thanks!

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 2:27 PM

are pre-paid amex cards sold at my local Duane Reade and/or Rite-aid stores?

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 2:39 PM

just bought a ticket for thursday...row j. and there are still orchestra tickets available for pairs as well.

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 3:29 PM

tickets still available

Isn't anyone going to complain that they're ugly again? That was quite the discussion a while back.

Posted by Orpheus | March 4, 2009 3:44 PM

Yeah, that was funny orpheus especially when there are bands like the Hold Steady and Decemberists out there that are truly the ugliest schmos in the bizzness

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 4:27 PM

except with the hold steady and the decemberists there's a lot more to complain about

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 4:37 PM

Plus 2 of the members in GB are pretty cute

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2009 4:49 PM
