"You were standing by me almost the whole show, and believe me, I noticed you there. You looked beautiful, stylish and intriguing. Our eyes met quite a few times, and I racked my brain for a way I could strike up a conversation with you. You seemed to wait patiently by and get closer as the night progressed. But instead of coming up with some clever way of talking to you, I rudely bumped into you. I don't know if you heard my apology but whether you did or didn't, I should have expressed myself better, and at least offered to buy you a drink. In the end I tried to talk to you even though I could only think of idiotic things to say. I don't know if you'll ever read this, but if you do, I'm very sorry for my physical and mental clumsiness, and I hope you enjoyed the show. If you'd forgive me, I'd love to buy that drink I should have offered you sometime, and say this all to you in person."
